What a beautifully animated storyboard sequence! I want to see the movie more than ever now!
Oh man, this is so cute! Haha I would have watched the movie before, but now I'm 352% more sure that I want to watch it.
I could watch the whole movie just in boards, if they are like this.
holy cyow! what a lovely sequence
Yay :D
I'm going this weekend, super excited!!
I'm already lovig this gif animation :)
Cheers,
Junko
Awesome boards! I love the camera rotation! I'd heard about Pooh having a 'trippin' sequence! Can't wait to see this!
ooOOooo yay! I am so excited! I'll be seeing it tonight after work :D!!!
is Nick Fury at the end?
Something just occurred to me: the perspective on this is incredible! Was it all from your head, or did you use Maya or some other 3D software for reference?
Thanks so much guys!! =D
Kristina: It's from my head - easy enough to cheat what with it being liquid and all!
Saw it: it was refreshing to see a animated film that didn't feel it needed to add in an extra half hour of padding (COUGH, Horton) when it wasn't needed. I'm also glad that, while the pacing was tighter then the older films, it more or less didn't try to "with attitude" it up at all, nor add intensity or large climaxes, just because that's expected of an animated feature.
I was simple, charming, lowkey and not just cute but quite hilarious: And I was very picky about the characters because this was probalby the largest animation influence on my growing.
Heh, and a theory I had was correct with at least one couple I talked to in the theatre: they put it out the same night as Hallows to bring in people who couldn't get any seats for the former.
Also, sooo stoked to see your name so early in the credits: good on ya!
wowowowoowowow!!!
Lovely animatic, lovely film!
Hahaha, wow!!! I saw the film on the weekend, and it was great! Simple, charming, everything everyone is saying is true! The film was fantastic, a real salute to everyone involved! And I read the little article on you in 'THE GEORGIA STRAIT', way to make all us Vancouver animators proud (and jealous)!!!
Estupenda, es bellismo.
Me and Emmett are going to see it tomorrow!! I'm totally jazzed. congrats.
