Book's ready!

It is the nicest book-type thing I have made so far. The reason for the title is on the back. Click the picture or here!

Deathly Hallows made me all sniffly. =(

EDIT: September 20: I'm all out of them myself, but the books are available through Gallery Nucleus and soon through Lulu.com.

Clio, a question..

Where did you get this printed up? Is it a Lulu book or did you do it as a small self-funded run?
I ask because the print quality really is lovely and I'm thinking of doing a sketchbook of my own sometime...

And I hear you about LA. Oy, madhouse, that town. If you can find most of what you need for day-to-day living in your own suburb, then you're doing okay.
San Fran's the same - takes AGES to get anywhere and errands become major excursions.

You GO GIRL!

Amy - yes it's from lulu.com! I think the quality's ok, but it was expensive!!

And yeah, there are still plenty of things that take me half an hour to get to around here - the art store, for one thing. The grocery stores are a little sad around here, dingy fluorescents and not a huge selection, or full of brands that I don't know of that look overly advertised. I dunno, I miss how granola Vancouver is. ;)

Amazing blog.... I gotta get one of those books.

Yeah, that's print-on-demand for ya. Pricey little buggers.
Maybe a bunch of us will have to band up and approach Image for the next one ;)

The book is awesome, Clio! SO slick & pretty. Thanks so much; You most definitely rock. I'll hafta pick your brain sometime for more info on your self-publishing adventures.

Was cool meeting you and Kazu & Amy too! See you at the next art show/cartoon happening.
