Where can I get one?Are you by chance coming to TCAF?-R.
Hey Nick don't spoil HP for others! (I've read it already, was an amazing ending, and made me sad too) :(anyways... ordered your book! :) I can't waaait to receive it.
Yikes, how the hell did I miss you at the con? Crazy time, huh? Welcome to LA. Gotta hook up at some stage. Can't wait to get your book.
Thanks Francis!Randeep: they are just available online, for now. They were at San Diego. I don't know if I'll be taking them elsewhere just yet.Seo: thanks!!Donna: I don't know how I missed you!! but I saw your art floating around, it's beautiful! I hope to meet up too... will send you an email before the week is out! Right now I gotta catch up on classes, yikes.
Nick: deleted your comment. Nobody likes spoilers!
welcome to so-cal! I totally want a copy of your book. Are you selling them online? Or do I have to check staurt ng or someplace similar?
Great seeing you at the con finally! Your book is excellento :)
Hey Uncle Phil! You can click the picture but they will also be at Stuart Ng's later on (whenever I get over there!).Alan: Great to meet you too at long last =)
Clio, a question..Where did you get this printed up? Is it a Lulu book or did you do it as a small self-funded run?I ask because the print quality really is lovely and I'm thinking of doing a sketchbook of my own sometime...And I hear you about LA. Oy, madhouse, that town. If you can find most of what you need for day-to-day living in your own suburb, then you're doing okay. San Fran's the same - takes AGES to get anywhere and errands become major excursions.
You GO GIRL!
Amy - yes it's from lulu.com! I think the quality's ok, but it was expensive!! And yeah, there are still plenty of things that take me half an hour to get to around here - the art store, for one thing. The grocery stores are a little sad around here, dingy fluorescents and not a huge selection, or full of brands that I don't know of that look overly advertised. I dunno, I miss how granola Vancouver is. ;)
Amazing blog.... I gotta get one of those books.
Yeah, that's print-on-demand for ya. Pricey little buggers.Maybe a bunch of us will have to band up and approach Image for the next one ;)
love this cover...
throw the shoes!!!
The book is awesome, Clio! SO slick & pretty. Thanks so much; You most definitely rock. I'll hafta pick your brain sometime for more info on your self-publishing adventures. Was cool meeting you and Kazu & Amy too! See you at the next art show/cartoon happening.
