In a town called 'Buttonwillow'
...compromised of four gas stations, two restaurants, a plethora of fast food places, and cheap motels for chumps who are too tired to drive the two hours to LA.

Weird they call 'em Carl's Jr out there? Here on the east coast they're called Hardee's, same logo and everything. Portion sizes still seem the same (large, x-large, gargantuan). Excellent photos!
